Old Dutch Butterscotch

In 1892 the founder of JB Diesch started in Middelburg with baking the Old Ducht Butterscotch. At the start of the twenties the candy was packaged in blue tins, which were very popular among tourists. They often were bought as a collectors item. The Old Dutch Butterscotch is still very popular. Already for over 125 years since the candy was introduced on the market.

You can find the Old Dutch Butterscotch in several premium stores and tourist shops all over Holland.

We are making the Old Ducht Butterscotch according traditional family recipe, free of preservatives, dyes and cosmetic flavors. This results in a unique and typical taste. In the early years the Old Dutch Butterscotch was well served during coffee breaks.
